Yeah… that’s what you will find written on any tag for any damn thing today… Back in Delhi, I was discussing this with my uncle. He went to China some time back to look for some good business opportunities… as in, discover some new products and launch them in India or discover some products which are already there in India but available at a very steep rate.
First thing that he set his mind on was a mini washing machine… the idea sounded great… especially for working couples… it has a capacity of 8-10 clothes and very easy to handle and accommodate in your house as it was just the size of a normal container which can just hold 10 clothes, and available for an unbelievable price of 750 bucks! And very excited, he talked to some engineers there and made all the plans to launch it in India for Rs.1500…. but but but as soon as he reached India, the very second day he got to know that some enterprise called ‘Sasta Bazaar’ launched it the same day… and for exactly the same price… actually no… for a rupee less…for 1499… So I was just wondering if a small concern can really compete with these relatively bigger enterprises in this ‘Chinese’ market?! He says its tough, but very much possible! You just need one big blow!
Anyways… he has a couple things more in his mind and I hope he gets his ‘big blow’ with one of them…
