What can you say about a twenty-five year old girl who died? That she was beautiful. And brilliant. That she loved Mozart and Bach. And the Beatles. And me.
Rings a bell?!
Hah! Yesterday I read Love Story yet again…. But to my surprise I was not so moved while reading it this time… may be because I have read it earlier (maybe). I remember, that lump in my throat when I read it for the first time… the fear of losing a loved one… the fear of someone losing me… those couple of hours had actually transformed me, into a more sensitive person (a bit too much i guess).. I started believing in expressing emotions… because you never know when time slips out and you keep regretting for the rest of your life.
But yesterday…it was just another book…another fiction…another story…. and now I’ve decided I am not reading any other book twice coz I hated being indifferent to this particular story… which held (holds?) such a special place in my heart!
well … try watching “A Walk to remember” … If Erich Segal’s Love Story had moved u (i too had felt the same as u when I had read it 3-4 years back) , u would love to watch this movie over and over again …
