Yes it is – especially the speed with which it is spreading. To the extent that today when my maid had cold and was complaining of body ache as well… I got scared! It might sound funny, but yes, I was thinking on those lines. Does she have swine flu – was the first thought! I hope not!

its not funny ..she shud chk her ..and u also shud care abt not get affected by her ..
till today we have already had 11 accidents by it ..
so it’s not funny more ..
Its actually scarey!! Sakshi..please take care of yourself. Ask your maid to get a checkup done.
Keep safe.
hi sakshi,
your maid should get herself checked? yes.
you should take precaution? yes
but if we ask ourselves: does this post help fighting the pandemic in any way or does it only add to the already existing panic and scare? i think we all know the answer to this question.
my request is lets not join the bandwagon of our irresponsible media in spreading the panic. yes, we need to be cautious; take precautions but WITHOUT spreading the scare.
above all, we should be careful with the words that we use on weblogs. these sound bytes carry a lot of power.
india is more vulnerable to mass hysteria and panic than any other pandemic.
btw, welcome back from the oblivion. we are happy that you are back.
cheers
me
